Dear Neighbors,
It’s important that Minnesota acts quickly to provide our state and local health officials the tools to prepare for and stop the spread of the coronavirus. Yesterday the House of Representatives unanimously approved a coronavirus response bill. Governor Walz signed the bill into law today.
The Minnesota Department of Health has set up a public hotline that will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Call the hotline at 651-201-3920 for answers to your questions. You can also visit www.health.state.mn.us for up-to-date and accurate information about what Minnesota is doing to prepare for and stop the spread of COVID-19.
I will be in touch with new information as I receive it from our public health officials. Protecting Minnesotans’ health is a priority that all legislators share, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have a top-notch public health system in Minnesota.
Sincerely,
Paul Marquart
State Representative
